Ragging is a criminal offence.
Anti-Ragging Cell
- Ragging is fully prohibited on this campus. It is a criminal offence under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009.
- Ragging includes teasing, abuse, or any act that causes injury, fear, or shame to a student.
- The committee is headed by the Principal. Parent representatives are fathers of students of this college. Two girl students and one boy student also sit on it.
- A student and a parent give the anti-ragging undertaking at admission, on antiragging.in.
- A complaint may be made to the office, on helpline@antiragging.in, or on the UGC helpline 1800-180-5522.
