Intermediate (10+2) from a recognised board. The minimum marks are those notified by the University for the session.

स्नातक विज्ञान संकाय (बी.एससी.)

Duration 6 semesters — 3-year degree under NEP-2020. Published intake: 160.

Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology.

Intermediate (10+2) with Science. The subject combination follows the University notice for the session.

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (U.P.) adopted NEP-2020 for undergraduate programmes from 2021–22. The semester-end examination, the practical, the back paper and the result are the University’s. The college teaches the semester and holds the internal assessment. Write college code 334 on every form.

• One academic year is an odd semester (July–December) and an even semester (January–June). Each semester is about 15 to 18 weeks.
• One credit is one hour of lecture or tutorial a week, or two hours of practical or field work a week.
• Each semester carries major papers, the minor where the scheme includes it, a vocational or skill course in the first four semesters, and a co-curricular course.
• The examination form is filled only in the window the University opens. A form after that window is a University decision, not a college one.
• Internal assessment is held on a timetable put up before the test. Its share of the marks is the share printed in that paper’s NEP scheme, not a figure invented here.
• Attendance of at least 75 percent in the semester is required before a student is sent up, unless the University ordinance condones the shortfall.
• A back paper or an improvement is a separate schedule on the University examination page. It is not taken in the next regular class.
• After the semester the University issues the grade card. SGPA is for that semester. CGPA is the running average, on the 10-point scale.
• Unfair means are reported under the University ordinance. The student is told the charge and heard before a decision.
• A delay in the examination or the result, or an evaluation that is not transparent, may go to the Student Grievance Redressal Committee and then to the University Ombudsperson.

Credit stages in the University’s structure from 2024–25: a certificate after two semesters (80 credits), a diploma after four (120), and the bachelor’s degree after six (160). A fourth year, Honours with Research, is 200 credits and opens only if the University allots it to this college.
