The college was opened so that students of Bhur Bisauli and Block Asafpur would not have to leave the tehsil for a first degree. B.A. and B.Sc. follow the syllabus of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (U.P.). Regular attendance matters here as much as the examination. Come to the office with the intermediate marksheet. We will say which combination is open this session.

• Anti-Ragging Committee

  Under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging, 2009, the committee is headed by the Head of the Institution. It includes representatives of the civil and police administration, local media, a non-government organisation working with youth, faculty, parents, freshers, senior students and non-teaching staff, with a mix of gender. It oversees the Anti-Ragging Squad, which stays on vigil. A student and a parent give the anti-ragging undertaking at admission. Complaints also go to antiragging.in and the national helpline 1800-180-5522.

• Internal Complaints Committee

  Constituted under the UGC Regulations, 2015, on sexual harassment in higher education. The Presiding Officer is a senior woman on the faculty. The committee also has two faculty members, two non-teaching employees, student members when a student is involved, and one external member. A written complaint is made within three months of the incident. A copy goes to the respondent within seven days; the reply is due within ten days. The inquiry follows the time given in those regulations.

• Student Grievance Redressal Committee

  Under the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023: a Professor as Chairperson, four Professors or senior faculty as members, and one student as a special invitee chosen on academic merit or on sports or co-curricular distinction. At least one among the Chairperson and members is a woman, and at least one is from the SC, ST or OBC category. The committee sends its report, preferably within fifteen working days. Admission contrary to the published policy, a missing or misleading prospectus, retention of certificates, excess fee, reservation, scholarship delay, delay in an examination or result, and unfair evaluation can be raised here. An appeal lies with the Ombudsperson of the affiliating university. UGC e-Samadhan remains open.

• Admission Committee

  Runs admission to the published prospectus: programmes, intake, eligibility, reservation, fee and the refund rule, before a form is sold. No capitation fee. Selection follows the merit and schedule of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. Original certificates are checked and returned the same day. They are not kept as security.

• Examination Committee

  Conducts the college’s internal tests on a timetable notified in advance. A student needs at least 75 percent attendance to be sent up for the university examination, unless the university ordinance grants condonation. The degree examination, the question paper and the result belong to the University. Unfair means are dealt with under the university ordinance. A delay in the examination or the result, or an evaluation that is not transparent, may be taken to the Student Grievance Redressal Committee.
